Description
Philippe Durand has cultivated this Bordeaux property since 1986, which has been in biodynamic conversion since 2018. For years now, the vineyards in Montagne Saint-Emilion have been practically organic, and starting with the 2016 vintage, the vineyard with sulfur. The soil is worked without herbicides and of course without pesticides. Harvested by hand, in small boxes to pamper the grapes, which are selected in the vineyard and at the entrance of the winery.

Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc are planted on the property. These are vines that are between 30 and 70 years old, of small yield and high quality in production. Montagne Saint-Emilion is an AOC near Saint-Emilion where very interesting wines are made, perhaps they do not have the pedigree of the wines of that AOC but we have to say that we have been enthusiastic about this Rocher Corbin, with its fifteen degrees of pure alcohol balance.
