Chateau La Graviere is a tiny wine estate in Lalande de Pomerol, planted with 90% Merlot and lesser amounts of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Of small production, it is well known for being the house wine of Alain Ducasse's restaurants. Attention to the own vineyard of a large Pomerol vineyard, with manual work, control of foliar mass and yields included, and also manual harvest in 12-kilo boxes. Selection of grapes before and after destemming, fermentation in steel and subsequent aging in Bordeaux French oak barrels, for about 12 or 15 months depending on the vintage. A great wine from the right bank of Bordeaux.
