La Viña de Mis Ojos is a red wine made by Luis Martín, owner of Vinos Sinceros, with an unknown variety but which is believed to be Brancellao planted in his vineyards in Lerma in the heart of Ribera del Arlanza in Castilla y León. Vineyards over 150 years old planted in goblet that the old people of the place identify with Mencía but that are clearly similar to the Galician Brancellao. Limestone lands of a small plot located in the lower area of the Arlanza in Palenzuela. Microvinifications depending on the vintage, from 700 to 1300 kg. The grape is destemmed and vatted in a small tank, spontaneous fermentation. A daily manual trampling is carried out and you devat according to tasting, with soft but long macerations. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels, making the final blend halfway through the aging process. 20 months in 500-litre used French oak barrels. It is an incredibly surprising wine. Something unusual. Fluid, smooth and enjoyment. Picota cherry red with violet flashes, lower layer. Explosion of red fruits, violets and other flowers, nuances of balsamic herbaceous notes. Fluid and fresh attack with an "airy" mid palate but with some depth and an aromatic finish. 700 Bottles
