Description
Rioja
Who does not remember the iconic wine "Siglo Saco" from AGE wineries? Here it is, but under the main label and in a historic vintage. Bodegas AGE was the union of three pioneer families in the production of fine Rioja wines. They already began to elaborate in Fuenmayor, at the end of the 19th century. The families were Azpilicueta, the most important and dynamic, García and Entrena. The winery was commanded by Don Felix Azpilicueta that his heirs would sell to the multinational Pernod Ricard, current owners of the brand. 1959 was a VERY GOOD vintage in La Rioja. At that time the winery was in the leading squad of quality productions. The Azpilicueta pushed and in what way. A great prestige that was endorsed by the quality of its wines, vintage after vintage. A safe value.
