La Titaina del Cabanyal is a preserve made by Conservas Samare in Valencia. It is a Valencian ratatouille with tomato, pepper, garlic, oil and pine nuts, to which they add tuna mojama. A classic if you go for a walk through the Cabanyal neighborhood, now at home. We recommend putting on top of slices of toasted and hot bread.

When we met Conservas Samare, its packaging, colorful and with precise information, where we only read good ingredients, caught our attention. We prepare a fork and open. We find what we guessed: some preserves full of the traditional flavor and smell of Valencian cuisine. They have been making them since 2019, with the intention of preserving those seafood stews from the Albufera de Valencia and Cabanyal. They work in an artisanal way and with good raw materials, with vegetables from the area, combining humility with quality, innovation with tradition.
