These beans come from León, also called kidney beans or pinto beans, they are pinkish in color with small garnet spots, with a fairly large size and rounded in shape. Very typical in stews from central Spain. Its cooking time is highly variable depending on the treatment we want to give it: it needs at least 45 minutes before soaking and in a saucepan, if we use a pressure cooker in 18-20 minutes they would be ready. It also supports long stews.
