This small amontillado solera was founded by the 2nd count of Osborne, D. Tomás Osborne Guezala to commemorate the birth of his son Antonio in 1903.Palomino grapes from the Pago Balbaína produce the lightest musts in the Sherry region. True oenological gems.
The Osborne RARE are an exquisite "rarity" comparable, if they could be compared, to the Reliquias of Barbadillo. Wines that can be found in the cellars of the great Jerez houses. Ancient soleras that started at the beginning of the 20th century. They are sublime and very complex wines, but the winery decided to make them more pleasant with a slight addition of Pedro Ximenez, turning them into a kind of medium-dry. This Amontillado is not played with PX so it breaks the RARE Medium standard. Solera AOS (Antonio Osborne Solera) is dry, extraordinarily dry, with an incredible volume in the mouth that, like all RARE, it is advisable to taste it over time, no matter how much, in small sips.
