Sweet botrytis wine, based on Riesling but including other varieties such as Rieslaner of Scheurebe, depending on the vintage. PIUS is the first sweet wine to be harvested at the winery and Klaus Peter intends it to be an introduction to the sweet house wines. Rheinhessen has traditionally been one of the least noble wine regions in Germany, with the Kellers being the architects of a revolution in the area in the last ten years. In the last transfer of powers Klaus-Peter Keller decided to revolutionize the wine world of the Rheinhessen and start to vinify the best grapes in a different way than his father had followed.
