Contubernio Amontillado 375 ml

Medium-aged Manzanilla Amontillado. Its production uses a distinctly Sanlúcar aging process, favoring soleras with a large number of criaderas. A wine with an extremely fine and delicate profile, with notes of oxidation on the nose and a saline and defined palate. In recent years, the Manzanilla from which this amontillado comes has been blended exclusively with musts from our own vineyards in the old Campix estate. Bottled en vine after very light filtration. Vinos Según Cede is the brand that hides the wines from the backroom cellar of Taberna der Guerrita in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Manuel Guerra, founder of the now essential Taberna in 1978, a winemaker before a tavern owner and father of the tireless Armando Guerra, is in charge of the winery. Thank goodness it all started as entertainment... but that's what happens when you do things with passion. They have 6 hectares of their own vineyards in Pago de Campix, located in El Puerto de Santa María, and an additional hectare in the Mahína estate in Sanlúcar. They produce their own wine for solera blending, experimenting with vintages, and creating Pasto wines. Until now, all of their production was destined for the tavern, but now a small portion is being used for marketing.
