From the 2015 harvest, Valdespino decided to reserve a series of manzanilla boots in their initial phase of biological aging, when the flower was at a peak of development, with wines exclusively from Pago de Miraflores. In this first harvest, 16 boots of this Manzanilla are sealed, thus fulfilling the requirements to categorize vintage wines. Five butts of the 16 that made up this vintage were selected based on their elegant, intense and complex character. All of them showed in common a lot of finesse and structure capable of making them evolve positively in the bottle. The Special is a Manzanilla of great intensity and structure, developed over 7 years of static aging.
