Description
We launch a new edition of The Single Boot on the market. On this occasion we went up to the Don Benigno Room of the old Angioletti winery, where for many years a single wineskin has rested. On the boot there is a plaque that explains the reason:“Must barrel from the 1984 vintage that a group of friends of Antonio P. Barbadillo Romero offer him for his appointment as XXXIV Honorary Foreman of the San Ginés de La Jara Winery at the XXXVII Sherry Harvest Festival.”Sanlúcar de Barrameda, September 25, 1984Don Benigno's unique boot has always been closed with desire. Some screws have long prevented curious people from being able to taste its contents. Montse Molina, winemaker at the House, acknowledges that in all the years she has been at the winery, she has never seen the boot without screws. We recently proceeded to the opening and fell in love with a huge cut stick. The target that was selected for the event must have been very fine. Hence the evolution of wine 40 years later.Result of the single batch: 600 bottles.
