www.coallagourmet.com is the online shop of Grupo Coalla, specialists in the distribution of wines and gourmet products in the Principality of Asturias (Spain) that was first established in 1955, when José Suárez Coalla founded a small food store in the neighborhood of the very central Plazuela San Miguel In Gijón.

Today, the Coalla Group maintains the original food store (Coalla Ultramarinos), and adds two gourmet stores in Gijón and Oviedo opened between 1999 and 2011, as well as this online store, opened in 2002 and remodeled for the third time in 2014.

Sixty years later the company is specialized in the wholesale and retail sale of gourmet food products, wines and accessories. We like to consider ourselves like a modern merchant of a high reputation (appointed three times as BEST GOURMET SHOP from SPAIN), with a team of more than 30 people.

Sixty years ago our focus remains the same: we are passionate about wine and we like to think that we sell happiness with each bottle. And so we put all our efforts in discovering the wines that we love and putting them in the hands of our customers trying to maintain the levels of service and customer service that have characterized Coalla for more than half a century.

We also distribute to professionals and wholesale high quality wines. Always looking for wine excellence. Our work is an unstoppable and never ending work of finding national and import wines of personality and quality. In addition to selling wines, we assess wine lists, organize tastings, courses as well as events and promotional activities.

Our facilities are fully air-conditioned to keep the wines in perfect conditions of humidity and temperature. Professionally speaking, our main clients are wine shops, restaurants, hotels, wine shops and other agents in the HORECA sector. In addition to the exclusive distribution to Asturias of national and international wineries, we import, exclusively and throughout Spain, wines from the most prestigious wine regions of the world, all characterized by being fine wines of great personality. We are proud to work with small producers that work native grapes with environmentally respectful practices.
