Our beginnings were humble, but full of passion and determination. In 1955, on the iconic Uría Street in Gijón, we founded Coalla as a small grocery store. Our goal was simple yet ambitious: to provide our customers with quality products and exceptional, personalized service.
As the years passed, our store grew and evolved. Our dedication to offering an exceptional selection of wines, cheeses, and gourmet products from around the world has allowed us to become a benchmark in the gourmet world. Today, we have six physical stores (two in Gijón, one in Oviedo, two in Madrid, and one in Estepona) taking Coalla's excellence to new horizons.
In addition to our physical stores, we have also expanded our reach into the digital world. Our online store allows us to reach customers throughout Europe, offering the same quality, attention, and experience that has characterized Coalla for more than six decades.

We also love sharing our passion for wine through tastings and gastronomic experiences, guiding participants on a journey of flavors and aromas to learn to appreciate and enjoy every glass.
In addition to our retail activities, we have developed a robust import and distribution division for food and beverage products, specializing in the HORECA channel. We operate with branches in Asturias, Cantabria, León, Madrid, and Málaga, and have a presence in Galicia and other parts of Andalusia, working closely with restaurants, bars, hotels, and other professional establishments.
