Origin of the project
Los Vinos del Agua is a winemaking project whose main ingredient is friendship.
Its wines are born around a table shared by friends passionate about wine, who decide to turn that passion into a common project. From a careful selection of vineyards in different regions of Spain, they create a limited collection of high-quality wines.
Winemaking philosophy
The project is based on a clear idea: quality over quantity.
Each wine is the result of selective tasting and the choice of vineyards that best represent their origin, always seeking the highest expression of the terroir.
Wines of the project
Orpin | D.O. León
Orpin is a white wine made from 100% Albarín.
It is a complex and fresh wine, with fine bakery notes coming from lees aging.
Its character makes it versatile and suitable for any moment of the day.
Argavieso | D.O. Bierzo
Argavieso is a red wine made from 100% Mencía.
It comes from century-old vines and shows great intensity and minerality.
It has been aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, giving it elegance and structure.
Pintea | D.O. Ribeiro
Pintea is a aging wine produced from vineyards over 40 years old.
It is characterized by soils of “sábrego”, decomposed granite typical of the region.
Its aging takes place in 1,200-liter foudres on fine lees, bringing complexity and balance.
Brand identity
The name “Los Vinos del Agua” comes from the importance of water in life and the Atlantic environment of Gijón, where the project originates.
Each wine represents a form of rain:
Orpin as light rain, Argavieso as heavy rain, and Pintea as soft and intermittent rain, reflecting different nuances of the same natural concept.
Project in evolution
Los Vinos del Agua is a living project in constant growth, where friendship, vineyard selection, and the search for identity will continue to give rise to new creations in the future.
