Domaine Chanzy, the essence of Burgundy

Domaine Chanzy is much more than a winery: it is a true expression of Burgundy’s great terroirs. With 66 hectares of certified vineyards, its story is built on passion for the land and a commitment to crafting wines that faithfully reflect their origin.

Our history

It all began in 1928 in Bouzeron, a small village in Saône-et-Loire, when Joseph Sordet founded the estate in a property featuring a magnificent 16th-century vaulted cellar. Over the decades, the estate evolved through different owners and generations, expanding its vineyards and establishing itself in the region before becoming Domaine Chanzy in 1974.

Our philosophy

At Domaine Chanzy, we believe in respecting the land and preserving it for future generations. This is why we follow sustainable practices under environmental certification, allowing us to express the diversity of Burgundy’s terroirs, from Mercurey to Puligny-Montrachet.

Our passion

Today, the estate produces wines from some of Burgundy’s most prestigious appellations, combining tradition and innovation. Each bottle reflects meticulous work in both vineyard and cellar, offering elegant, complex, and authentic wines. More than wine, Domaine Chanzy delivers an experience rooted in history, land, and the joy of sharing.
